The UNBC Arts Council fosters the presence of the visual, literary and performing arts within the UNBC community and works jointly with community partners to create collaborative opportunities for promotion of the arts in all their manifestations.
The UNBC Arts Council oversees the Robert Frederick Gallery which is open to the public and is free! The gallery offers professionally curated exhibits through the year. The gallery supports the development of emerging visual artists by increasing access and awareness to visual arts within the university, community, and region. The Robert Frederick Gallery is located in the atrium of the Research Laboratory building (accessed from Student Street). The gallery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends and holidays.
