Job Description:

Job title: CTLT Student Assistant

Reports to: Instructional Designer

Positions: 3 positions, 15 hours/week each at $20/hour

Job purpose: The CTLT Student Assistant provides support for the Instructional Designers (IDs) with content management needs of the UNBC learning management system.The timeframe for this position will be over the summer (May - August,2022) at the Prince George Campus or via virtual work.
 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assistance to CTLT instructional designers with content management needs within the UNBC learning management system
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality when reviewing course material Student Assistants receive training and assistance to perform their duties, as they develop their ability to complete tasks independently. This job description outlines the general nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position or within this classification. Management retains the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time according to the organization’s needs. Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a current UNBC student with confidence and proficiency managing online content. Skills and proficiency with UNBC Microsoft 365 tools is considered an asset.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of software: i.e,. Excel, Word, and Moodle
