Match the Hatch - Stream/River Entomology
This course is geared towards intermediate fly anglers who are interested in developing a greater appreciation for stream/river entomology and fishing techniques.
The following topics will be covered:
- Sampling for aquatic insects
- General aquatic insect behaviour
- Identification and biology of the major stoneflies, mayflies, and caddisflies
- Nymphing, wetfly, emerger and dry fly fishing techniques
