Wearable Media 2: Clothing and Code

Building on the material covered in Introduction to Wearable Media CSDM 1N43, students are introduced to sewable microcontrollers, sewable sensors and actuators. Students learn the introductory programming skills needed to create sophisticated, responsive, and flexibly wearable electronic projects.

Students will work with soft and sewable electronics, textile/garment construction methods, and the 'hacking' of existing garments. Students must bring their own laptop computer to the course.

This course is offered in partnership with OCAD University to offer a wide range of courses for enhancing your career expertise in web, design, photography, analytics, and technology.


Working with your OCAD U Account

As a student, you will receive an OCAD U user account, which will grant you access to the OCAD U learning management system, called Canvas. Your Canvas account will be enabled one week prior to the start date of your course. Login at canvas.ocadu.ca.
