As part of the UNBC Student Life Activities join our virtual Knitting Group! Whether you are brand new to knitting or a seasoned pro, join us to connect with other students well setting aside time to take a break! This month knitting group will be knitting slippers for a cause, Prince George Hospice is in need of knitted slippers for their guests!

Student Life will provide the supplies as well as instruction from start to finish during the virtual session. If you require supplies please email Dakota.DenDuyf@unbc.ca

Supplies required:
Needles and Notions:
US 8 (5mm) or US 9 (5.5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge.
Blunt darning needle to finish.
2 stitch markers
Yarn:
Approximately 150 (200, 300)yds / 137 (183, 274)m of a medium or heavy worsted-weight yarn.
(The yards are for the different sizes (small-150, medium -200 and large-300) etc...)
