The 2021 Northern Economics Student Society annual symposium provides an opportunity for students and others to hear from experts who are applying their knowledge of economics to local issues. This year, we are focusing on the economic implications of COVID0-19 for northern B.C. This pandemic has significantly changed our daily lives and this has resulted in wide-ranging implications for our economy. This event will help to highlight some of these current implications, as well as the future opportunities and challenges we face as a region.

There will be presentations from Hubspace, Northern Development Initiative Trust, the City of Prince George and the Nadleh Whut'en First Nation.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
