The Canadian Institute of Forestry - Cariboo Section is co-sponsoring this colloquium presentation which will feature 3 NRES grad students presenting their research projects and/or results to date. 

  1. Kristen Kieta - PhD candidate - Using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons to determine post-wildfire contanination and sediment sources in a large watershed in central British Columbia.
  2. Patrick Robinsin - MSc candidate - High resolution wildfire fuel mapping using Aerial Laser Scanning (ALS) Data.
  3. Malek Haghshenas - MSc candidate - The response of subalpine fir growth and resilience to climate change in northern Rockies, Interior British Columbia.

The Natural Resources & Environmental Studies Institute (NRESi) at UNBC hosts a weekly lecture series at the Prince George campus.
