Arthur B. McDonald Fellowships recognize early-stage academic researchers (within 10 years of their first independent academic position) in the natural sciences and engineering and support them to enhance their research capacity, so they can become leaders in their field and inspire others. You must currently hold a grant from NSERC to apply.

Prize amount: $125,000/year for two years

UNBC is required to certify all nomination packages and is allowed to submit only six nomination packages. If we receive more than six nominations, an internal adjudication process will take place.
