The 4th Annual MScBA Research Day

The 4th MScBA Research Day Conference will be held on Friday, January 26th from 9 am to 4 pm. It is a great platform for the research community to exchange research ideas, glean feedback, and build research culture. All first year MSc students are required to present in this conference. In addition, the more senior students are welcome  and encouraged to give a poster presentation during the lunch break in this  event, showing their thesis and research projects.

Pounamu Taonga Award

The Pounamu Taonga (Greenstone Treasure) Award was established by our friend and colleague Dr. Graham Smith from the Maori University, Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi.  The purpose of this annual award is to recognize an Aboriginal student who is graduating from UNBC, for their academic achievements, their university service and their community involvement. All Aboriginal students at UNBC who have completed their requirements for graduation are eligible. Graduate students will be given priority, but undergraduate students are eligible for nomination.

Study with faculty who are passionate about what they teach, including Canada Research Chairs.
