The Genetics Lab at UNBC performs DNA Sequencing and Fragment Analysis with the Applied Biosystems 3130xL. We also have an Applied Biosystems QuantStudio3, and a BioRad  Droplet Digital PCR System for qPCR and eDNA detection. A Nanodrop and Qubit fluorometer are also available for use.

If you are looking for environmental DNA (eDNA) services, please contact us about starting a project. We currently use both the QuantStudio3 and QX200 Droplet Digital PCR System to detect eDNA targets from several fish, reptile, and amphibian species, from both aquatic systems and soil.

*The lab is closed for lunch from 12:00-12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays
