Why Self-Identify as a person of Indigenous Ancestry?

Students who self-identify at UNBC can be provided with information on Indigenous Orientation, awards, scholarships and bursaries, as well as programs, supports, and services. Self-identified Indigenous students who require assistance with admissions, registration, funding, or housing options can contact the Aboriginal Student Life Navigator at the First Nations Centre.

You are able to self-identify as an Indigenous student when you apply to UNBC or at any time through the Office of the Registrar.
