ITS Maintenance/Information for this week:

This is your weekly digest of system maintenance/information and downtime. All notices are also posted on the myUNBC Student Portal, our.unbc. ca for Employees, support.unbc.ca and on unbc.ca /its. Please see one of these locations for maintenance notices.


ITS Information Notice: Signing into Ellucian Experience & Ellucian Workflow || Wednesday, December 21st || Time: 12:00pm

Going forward users will be able to sign into Ellucian Experience & Ellucian Workflow using either your student account or your employee account.  


ITS Maintenance Notice: Tuesday, December 20th   || Time: 10:30pm

Windows Workstation patching (all desktops and laptops running Windows)

  • Windows Workstation Patching - Important information regarding the release and install of Software Security Updates for UNBC Workstations
  • Security Updates are available to install from Tuesday, December 20th  at 12:30pm
  • Please follow restart instructions prior to the Thursday, December 22nd  at 10:30pm, when restarts will occur automatically

ITS Maintenance Notice:  Wednesday, December 21st  || Time: 10:00pm – 4:00am

SharePoint Server Maintenance: All internal SharePoint sites require patching and will be unavailable

  • Please note that this maintenance does not involve SharePoint Online (Teams/OneDrive) environments

  • All Windows Servers are impacted – FAST access may be intermittent during this window.
