The design lab is UNBC's first interactive classroom. It features non-tiered seating for 60 students, tables and chairs that are fully mobile, standard and interactive projectors, workstations for group work and special acoustic treatment.


The new working lounge features workstations to allow gropu work,soft seating with easilty accessible electronics chanrging, small kitchenette, extensive storage for student projects, three walls with writable surfaces, natural daylight and acoustic treatment.

Master of Applied Science - Engineering

The Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Engineering degree program is suited for students who wish to pursue a research-based program in Engineering, and the program is expected to attract students from engineering disciplines such as, but not limited to, civil, environmental, structural, and building sciences. The degree program is in the implementation phase and is scheduled to begin in 2020.The program offering is subject to the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training approval.
