Hudson's Bay- BaySys Research Program

Drs. Déry, Owens and Petticrew are part of the  BaySys Research Program. This program is designed to examine the contributions of climate change and hydro-electric regulation to the variability and change of freshwater-marine coupling in the Hudson Bay system. Stephen Dery is part of the freshwater and littoral systems team whose research questions examine freshwater timing and magnitude on contemporary and future projections of freshwater-marine water coupling in Hudson Bay. Phil Owens and Ellen Petticrew are part of the contaminants team. The objectives of this team are to examine how contaminant transport and transformation in the Hudson Bay ecosystem responds to regulation and a changing climate.
