Just four games into her Canada West career, the native of Vernon has proven to have the physical tools to make an impact in every game. Alongside fellow centreback Mara McCleary, Lavigne will need to be good against a Cascades team that edged UNBC last season.

“A team like Trinity, they have four wins, with wins in all their games so far. They’re a great team at get getting balls into the box and shots in. Every game I have watched, they’re getting at least ten balls on net, so we need to find a way to match that, or try to shut them down.”
