  • Develop prospective, longitudinal evidence in the BC context about Track 2 clients’ experiences and decision-making processes in relation to MAID and (2) identify practice supports necessary to provide high quality coordination, care, assessment, and provision of MAID for this population. A secondary goal is to pilot research approaches for a project that will be national and international in scope.
  • To what extent do Employed Student Nurse (ESN) Programs, across BC’s Health Authorities optimize opportunities for student nurses to work in health care and can be improved to support practice readiness and enhance intentional recruitment and retention.
  • How can nursing bridging education be optimized, incorporating innovative models of delivery, concurrent to regular employment and improvement in efficiency across the continuum of nursing education (e.g., LPN to BSN, etc.)
  • Research has shown that while individuals often recognize the ways in which others may be vulnerable to the health impacts of climate change, they are not as likely to recognize and act on their own vulnerabilities. What communication strategies and behavioral insights could help individuals understand their own climate-related vulnerabilities and take proactive measures to protect their health where possible?
  • What is the size of primary care teams that maximizes quality outcomes for patients (e.g., efficiency, effectiveness, access, patient experience, etc.)?
