- "Psychology Student Orientation" - in-person - 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
- The Department of Psychology will be welcoming their new students to the Prince George campus. Event details will be communicated directly to students from the Department of Psychology so please check your @unbc.ca emails! This event is only open to new Psychology students.

- Tuesday, September 19th:
- "Let's Chat: Staying Safe at UNBC" - in-person - 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
- Curious about staying safe at UNBC? Join Scott McMillan, Manager of Occupational Health and Safety at UNBC, to discover hazards that you may encounter as a student and how to appropriately respond to them. Natasha Ewing, BC Parks’ Community Liaison Officer, will co-host this session to speak about wildlife awareness and responsible exploration of the area's stunning trails.

- "Zotero Citation Management" - online - 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- This workshop will introduce you to Zotero citation management software. We'll also talk about what makes "free" software free, and things you should consider when choosing to use free tools during your academic career.

- As a university student there are many strategies you can use to excel in your coursework. The third workshop in our University Transitions series will explore these strategies for success, including how to keep your materials organized, prepare for exams, take constructive notes, and read textbooks efficiently.

- Come to Masich Place Stadium and cheer on the UNBC Timberwolves Men's Soccer team as they play the University of Alberta's Golden Bears!
- School District 57 elementary school classes will be at the game showing their support.

- "UNBC Timberwolves Men's Soccer Home Game - Nats'ilnik Day" - in-person - 12:00 p.m.
- Come to Masich Place Stadium and cheer on the UNBC Timberwolves Men's Soccer team as they play the University of Lethbridge's Pronghorns!
- Nats'ilnik Day ("Coming Together") is an annual event where UNBC Indigenous Jerseys are worn, a Lheidli T'enneh Elder provides a traditional welcome, drummers provide in-game entertainment, and local Indigenous youth are bussed to and from the game. This year the UHNBC Drummers will be on-hand to provide the in-game entertainment.

- This workshop will cover strategic approaches to searching for and selecting academic resources, concept mapping, and developing effective searching strategies. This session will be held online via Zoom.

- Thursday, September 28th:
- "1000 Ravens" - in-person - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- The UNBC First Nations Centre (FNC) and the Northern Undergraduate Student Society (NUGSS) are asking UNBC students, staff, and faculty to make an origami raven as part of our goal to make 1000 Ravens to symbolize a University-wide step towards reconciliation.
- Location: NUSC Event Space (Room 6-250)
- "Introduction to Academic Writing" - online - 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
- All university students, no matter the discipline, need a strong foundation in academic writing. Connect with us for the final workshop in our University Transitions series where we will go over the basics of academic writing and explain university-level expectations for essay composition, thesis statements, paragraph structure, and referencing.
