(Returning) Blocks Leader: Fareed Shittu (1.5 Per Game)
Player To Watch: Spencer Ledoux, F
12.0 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 1.1 APG
One of the most efficient post scorers in the conference in recent memory, Spencer Ledoux often flies under the radar because of his understated game and commitment to the little details. The Kamloops big man finished tops in Canada West in field goal percentage in 2021-2022, setting career highs in scoring along the way. With the loss of veteran guards Tyrell Laing and Vova Pluzhnikov, Ledoux will be leaned on to provide offensively with his signature touch in the paint.
TWU Spartans – 2021-2022 Record (8-10)
4th in West Division Standings
84.4 Points Scored Per Game (4th)
88.7 Points Allowed Per Game (16th)
(Returning) Scoring Leader: Mason Bourcier (14.7 Per Game)
(Returning) Rebounding Leader: Mason Bourcier (9.2 Per Game)
(Returning) Assists Leader: Mason Bourcier (8.2 Per Game)
(Returning) Steals Leader: Mason Bourcier (2.4 Per Game)
(Returning) Blocks Leader: Connor Platz (1.3 Per Game)
Player To Watch: Mason Bourcier, G
14.7 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 8.2 APG, 2.4 SPG
One of the most dynamic players in Canada, Bourcier has evolved into a threat to record a triple double every time he sets foot on the court. Without his graduated running mate Ja’Qualyn Gilbreath, the Spartans are officially Bourcier’s team, and the veteran guard will look to set the tone for a Trinity program looking to take another step in the Canada West standings.
