The Edmonton product ranks second in the conference in rebounding, and his rim protection plays a major factor in Todd Jordan’s defense this season. A relentless rebounder with the athleticism to finish in traffic, Dario Lopez has stepped into a more prominent role for the Cascades this season. Leading UFV in scoring and rebounding, the second-year product of Spain has the ability to create second-chance opportunities and and-one situations. UNBC will need to limit Lopez’s touches, and be aware of him in rebounding scenarios.
