HHSC 471:
This course provides students an opportunity to examine critically the current health status of special populations including Aboriginal people, rural communities, people with disabilities, and those living with chronic illness. Students are introduced to current research trends in chronic disease management, which they use to design and develop interventions that improve health and wellness in these populations.
