The University of Northern British Columbia’s Office of Indigenous Initiatives invites you to join in a celebration of Spring Equinox at 3:00 pm (PST) Friday, March 19th.

We all have had a difficult year with constant changes so we are hosting the Four Connections Celebration Spring Equinox with a comedy theme. Hosted by Dr. Henry Harder, Vice-Provost of Indigenous Initiatives, and Eric Schwenger Operations Manager South Central Campus, you are invited to share in an hour and a half of laughs along with some of our respected and loved Elders and guests including a comedy performance from Don Burnstick. 

Lhtako Dene Elder Terri Boyd will conduct the Opening Ceremony. This will be followed by an introduction to our host South Central Campus from Eric Schwenger, a live performance by comedian Don Burnstick, and a discussion with Bev Best on best practices when inviting an elder to a classroom/event. 

In appreciation for joining the Spring Equinox celebration, three draws will be made for two wonderful gift baskets and a gift card for an Easter dinner during the event.
