This fund aims to encourage inter-institutional research, in health-related areas, between researchers at Thompson Rivers University, the University of Northern British Columbia, and the University of British Columbia (Okanagan) and foster collaboration with the BC Ministry of Health on research-related program areas.

This call for proposals is focused on research relating to the following themes identified by the Ministry of Health:

• Medium-term management of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on health care workers, or children and youth;
• Team-based primary care models; and
• Mental Health and Addictions, as they relate to overdoses and risis response, workforce issues/impacts, or complex care housing.
