Mitacs and Mental Health Research Canada (MHRC) have launched their Summer 2023 Studentship Call.  The research theme is on mental health.  The project team must include a student (Master’s and PhD candidates only), academic supervisor, eligible partner organization and community partner (e.g. First Nation community, front line doctors, not-for-profit working with communities, front line workers, northern community, etc.).

There is funding available from Mitacs and MHRC to fund one fully funded internship ($15,000 over a 4-6 month term).

Expressions of Interest are due to MHRC by November 4, 2022
Full Accelerate Application due to Mitacs by December 15, 2022
Projects must start by May 31, 2023

Applications must be received in the Office of Research and Innovation a minimum of 5 business days in advance of the application deadline. Applications must be submitted to the Office of Research and Innovation via ROMEO. Please allow enough time for Chair and Dean approval.
