Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. The exercise challenges thesis-based graduate students to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance in just three minutes using a single static slide. 

This event will give UNBC graduate students the chance to present their research through a creative and intense contest, which could win them a trip to participate in the 2023 Western Regional 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition, as well as cash prizes!

This virtual information session will:

1. Explain what the Three Minute Thesis is,
2. Go over the details for the 2023 Competition,
3. Have past participants/judges speak to their personal experiences of participating, while providing tips and tricks where relevant,
4. Review the details and deadlines outlined in the "Participant & Supervisor Support Form" for those who plan to apply,
5. Answer questions.
