The Travelling Knowledges student mobility program has funded academic travel for 35 UNBC undergraduate students, who have travelled to destinations including Australia, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Isle of Man, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, and the USA for exchanges, research opportunities, and independent study. We are very proud of our TK alumni, who have embraced this opportunity and served as excellent ambassadors for UNBC!

Kimono Showing and Obi Wearing Event

We are going to have an event, KIMONO showing and OBI wearing Event on January 13th Saturday 2024 in person @ 5-158 (UNBC). We will show how to wear YUKATA, summer KIMONO, and let participants to wear OBI belt with some Japanese volunteers' support. Any gender. If you are interested in, come and join us.

The Northern Feminist Institute for Research and Evaluation is pleased to announce the first event in its evening wine-and-cheese seminar series for 2023–2024. 
 
Commencing the series will be visiting PhD student Nahid Faiaz, who will present  “Women and Water-User Associations in Central and South Asia.” 
 
The seminar will take place from 6 PM–730 PM on 7 November 2023. Nahid will present virtually, but you are invited to join us in the UNBC Senate Chambers at the Prince George campus to enjoy wine and cheese with the local audience.
