Global Friday Presents
Kim Richard Nossal
Professor Emeritus, Queen's University
Centre for International and Defence Policy

Abstract: In Canada Alone: Navigating the Post-American World, Nossal argues that the return of a Republican America First president to the White House would bring about an unprecedented challenge to the unity of the West as a Republican administration picks up where Donald Trump left off in 2020. In this talk, Nossal will focus how Canadians might prepare for the possibility of the return of America First.

Speaker's BioKim Richard Nossal is professor emeritus in the Centre for International and Defence Policy, Queen’s University. He is the author of a number of works on Canadian foreign policy, including Canada Alone, published in September, and an updated and revised edition of Politique internationale et défense au Canada et au Québec, co-authored with Stéphane Roussel and Stéphane Paquin, released in August.
