The MBA program offering at Grande Prairie Regional College will be beneficial to the people who live in the Peace River Country, including Grande Prairie, Fort St. John and Dawsone Creek. It supports UNBC’s vision of being a university that transforms the lives and communities in the North and it supports GPRC’s mandate to expand access to post-secondary education in its service area by responding to community and regional demand for credit programming. The two institutions have entered into a Memorandum of Agreement.

Because this is a new degree program offering in Alberta, UNBC working through the Alberta's Ministry of Advanced Education and Campus Alberta Quality Council degree program approval process.
