Nàts’oodzùdii – The UNBC First Nation’s Speaker Series Presents: Angie Tucker
The Roots Remain but the Landscape Has Changed: How Colonialism Redefines Métis Experience on the Prairies
On behalf of the department of First Nations Studies I would like to invite you to attend the first event of the Nàts’oodzùdii speaker series. Aimed at bringing Indigenous researchers from around the world to present their work to the UNBC community we have a total of four speakers this year from across Canada. This month our speaker is Angie Tucker a Métis scholar, who is examining how colonialism redefined the Métis experience in southern Manitoba. The event will start at noon on 13 October 2021 and run for an hour. All are welcome.
