We are also committed to facilitating and encouraging the development of teaching excellence. The Centre offers a range of programs and services designed to enhance the practice and scholarship of teaching and learning at UNBC. Areas in which support is provided include instructional technology, instructional design consultation, workshops and conferences, advocacy for teaching excellence, and professional development and mentoring.
Resilient course design
In light of recent COVID-19 news, this a gentle reminder to consider resilient course design for the winter term. Resilient course design is a framework for understanding how to design courses so that you can quickly pivot in case of disruption due to student/instructor illness or isolation, unexpected events, natural disasters, or weather interruptions.
