This presentation will explore some of the challenges represented by Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects, and look at some of the solutions being crafted by Wikipedians, institutions, scholars, cultural professionals, and the general public.  It will complement UNBC’s very first editathon, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 21, 10 am to 3 pm in Room 5-234 of the Geoffrey R. Weller Library. The Natural Resources & Environmental Studies Institute (NRESi) is partnering with Inspiring Women Among Us (IWAU) to present this joint lecture.
