UNBC Representative Visits Local College Campuses

A representative of the University of Northern British Columbia Registrar's Office and the President of the Undergraduate Student Society will be visiting local college campuses next week to pass on information to prospective students about the programs and services available at UNBC. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, February 10th
Douglas College 8:30am-2pm

Tuesday, February llth
Kwantlen College (Richmond) 8:30am-noon
Kwantlen College (Surrey) noon-6:30pm

Wednesday, February 12th
UCFV (Abbotsford) 8:30am-noon
UCFV (Chilliwack) Noon-4pm

Thursday, February 13th
Langara College 8:30am-3pm

UNBC offers 25 bachelors degree programs in the Faculties of Arts and Science, Health and Human Sciences, Management and Administration, and Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. The University currently has about 2600 students.

Some recent programming developments include the creation of one-year certificate programs (in General First Nations Studies and First Nations Public Administration), a new bachelors degree program in Nursing, and a unique BA in Resource-based Tourism.
