Message from the Manager
“Dahooja! Welcome to the UNBC South-Central community - we are thrilled to have you join us for the next part of your educational journey. I am sure that you will find your experience as a UNBC student at our stunning North Cariboo Community Campus exceptional.
We are proud to do things a little differently here in Quesnel, while still being able to offer you the premier UNBC experience our university is famous for. You will have an even more engaged class experience and an even faster direct line to your professors and our support staff thanks to our intimate campus. On top of that you will have the chance to form lifelong bonds with your fellow learners as our students are a tight-knit community who look out for one another and work together to achieve their goals, having fun while they’re at it.
Whether you’re enrolled in our Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or you’re joining us for just a course or training session, the South-Central team is here to make sure your UNBC experience is second to none. We are here to support your learning and ensure that you have all the tools you need to succeed.
Quesnel is a small but mighty city with an incredible northern spirit. We love to get outside, connect with each other, and celebrate all that Northern BC has to offer.
Please feel free to drop by my office (S123) at any point during your time here. Whether you are looking for support or you just looking to say hello, my door is always open.
And don’t forget – #WeAreAllTimberwolves!”Eric Schwenger
