Understanding that the ability for students to support themselves has been negatively impacted by COVID-19, the Office of Research is announcing the Special Graduate Support Award for Research. The Special Graduate Support Award for Research competition is valued at $3,000.

Eligible expenses include wages or stipends for graduate research assistants, and course fees for related training. Travel costs for training and for conferences are not eligible. The funding period is May 1, 2020 to August 1, 2020.

The deadline for submission of applications is April 15, 2020.

All applications are to be emailed to the Office of Research at research@unbc.ca.

This is our second round of funding to support our students and we will continue to explore opportunities to provide additional funding moving forward.
