Biography

Dr. Benoit has twelve years leadership experience in the BC K-12 system as District Principal Student Supports, District Vice Principal Indigenous Education and as a school Principal. As District Principal Student Supports she led a multi disciplinary team of teachers, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, physio therapists and mental health clinicians. She served as chair of her regional Council of Administrators for Inclusive Supports in Education and has consulted on provincial committees. She has experience teaching in Kindergarten to Grade Twelve.

Dr. Benoit has instructed post-secondary courses with Queen's University for over six years to BC teachers in the specialty of Inclusive Education.

My research interests are strength-based inclusion, positive organizational scholarship, compassionate systems change, and collaborative inquiry.
