Biography
Amanda began her nursing career at the Fort St. John Hospital, and later worked in larger centers including Toronto, ON, and Kingston, ON. She has worked in acute care, community care, and in rural and remote outpost communities. Amanda completed her Master of Nursing degree with a particular interest in teaching and educating future nurses.
Amanda teaches for the Northern Baccalaureate Nursing Program in Fort St. John. She teaches ethics, perinatal and pediatric health, and nursing leadership. Amanda has particular interest in community health, immunization, and perinatal nursing.
