Biography

Darian Goldin Stahl is an interdisciplinary printmaker and Banting Postdoctoral Fellow in health humanities under the supervision of Dr. Sarah de Leeuw. Darian's project, Embodied Books: Binding Together Illness, Art, and Learning, seeks to forge new sensory understandings of illness through the making and reading of artists' books between rural and remote community members and medical learners.

Research and Expertise

Darian's research focuses on how artists' books can become shareable, multi-sensory archives of lived experience on the topics of illness, disability, health, and wellbeing.
