MacBlain, Lena
Biography
Lena is a Senior Lab Instructor for the Northern Baccalaureate Nursing Program in Fort St. John and is a practicing registered nurse with the Fort St. John Hospital. She was born and raised in Ontario as a first generation Canadian and studied at the University of Western Ontario where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing Science degree. Areas of practice include the medical/surgical unit, intensive care unit, and the emergency department. Lena is currently working on her Masters of Science in Nursing.
Lena teaches fundamentals of nursing and is a med/surg lab and clinical instructor for NBNP students. She is interested in seeking out new innovate ways to teach and learn in a student-centered environment with a hands-on approach.
