Biography

Valerie Sokolowski has been a faculty member of the School of Nursing since 2023. She received her LPN diploma in 2002 and worked in Burns Lake hospital full-time as she upgraded to get her BN from Athabasca University. In 2008 she started community nursing in Burns Lake and then moved to Prince George to continue the community journey in Public Health then Home Care Nursing. Has been teaching full-time since 2018, first in a practical nursing and now in the NBNP.
