Biography

Meet Olivia McEwen, a registered clinical counsellor with over ten years of experience in mental health. Olivia is dedicated to helping clients identify their strengths, embody their values, and develop practical tools to achieve their goals. Her passion lies in supporting clients with body image issues and disordered eating, empowering them to reclaim their connection with mind-body-soul so that they can live a fulfilling life. Olivia's approach to counselling is person-centered and trauma informed, rooted in principles of somatic healing (mind-body connection), intersectional feminism, and mindfulness. She prioritizes safety, compassion, and non-judgment in every session, collaborating with each client to create practical tools and strategies that empower them to reclaim their personal power and live a fulfilling, authentic life. Olivia is deeply invested in supporting clients on their healing journey and is committed to destigmatizing mental health and promoting social justice and awareness. She works with a diverse range of clients, including QTBIPGM+ (Queer + Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority) non-binary individuals, and people of all backgrounds.
