The health and safety of the UNBC community is of utmost importance. We are here to support you as you attend or teach face-to-face classes, conduct your research, or work on campus in a safe and effective manner.
Things to consider when coming to campus
Know the symptoms of COVID-19 and complete a daily health assessment. For guidance regarding self-isolation and testing, visit the Northern Health website.
If you are sick, stay at home.
Masks are not required but are recommended at our campuses and worksites. We strongly recommend that you continue to wear masks in all indoor public areas, including classrooms, laboratories, lobbies, hallways, stairwells and elevators.
Wash your hands regularly.
If you are not yet vaccinated, create a plan to receive your COVID-19 vaccination if you are able to do so. You can book your first and second doses via the Immunize B.C. website. Drop-ins are also welcome at most Northern Health clinics.
As an employee, if you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, follow the guidelines and directions from BC Centre for Disease Control and/or your health practitioner.
