This micro-credential provides an inside view of the industry and networking opportunities in film and television production in Ontario, preparing students for a pathway to employment.

This stackable micro-credential can be applied towards the Photography, Video, and Animation Skills Certificate.

The curriculum is developed in consultation with the local unions and guilds representing the industry, including the Directors Guild of Canada, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), and NABET 700-M UNIFOR. OCAD U alumni working in the industry will also be consulted.

This course is offered in partnership with OCAD University to offer a wide range of courses for enhancing your career expertise in web, design, photography, analytics, and technology.

Working with your OCAD U Account

As a student, you will receive an OCAD U user account, which will grant you access to the OCAD U learning management system, called Canvas.

Your Canvas account will be enabled one week prior to the start date of your course.
